POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster Presentations are open to students, professors and exhibitors at ExcipientFest Americas
It is an excellent opportunity to share your work and interact with colleagues from across the globe. A panel of judges from the industry will select the best two university posters and present awards. Participation of sub-graduate and graduate students is highly encouraged. Posters should focus on topics related to excipient technology or drug application.
Abstract Requirements
All abstract submissions are required to be structured under these headings: Title, Author(s)/Company/Institution, Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
The size of the abstract must be limited to 300 words or less and fit within one 8.5”x 11” page. Please submit the abstract electronically using Microsoft Word.
Authors may include tables and or graphics as long as the abstract does not exceed the 8.5” x 11” page limitation. Tables and graphics must be embedded into the abstract text.
Poster Guidelines
Poster board is 6 feet wide by 4 feet high. Mounting surface (usable space) is 5’10’’ wide by 3’10” high. The author is responsible for supplying materials for mounting posters. Do not use tape or other adhesive materials, or write/mark the poster board. Thumb tacks or pins recommended.
Posters will be displayed both days of the ExcipientFest. Posters will be set-up and completely dismounted by authors. If author is not able to attend, ExcipientFest will be responsible for the mounting and dismounting of poster. Poster set-up set up times are Tuesday, April 21 3-6 pm or Wednesday, April 22 8-10 am and poster removal time is Thursday, April 23 after 6 pm.
Bring only items which can be mounted on poster board. No electrical projection capabilities will be available. All items for posting must be prepared in advance. Graphic supplies will not be available.
Numbers with poster title and author’s name will be displayed in the upper corner of each poster board by ExcipientFest.
