"DCAT Partners with ExcipientFest"
|
The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) and Mr. Dwight Mutchler, Vice President of Mutchler Inc., Pharmaceutical Ingredients and owner of ExcipientFest, are pleased to announce a unique partnership wherein DCAT will assume the operation of ExcipientFest Conference and Pharma Expo.
This highly successful event, which has been held in Puerto Rico for the past seven years, recently expanded to include a second event in Ireland in June 2007. Both events will remain in those geographic locations but will be operated from DCAT headquarters, located in Robbinsville, New Jersey USA. DCAT will now present the programs as ExcipientFest Americas and ExcipientFest Europe.
“I can’t think of a more natural partnership than one with DCAT, whose brand is synonymous with enabling and enhancing business development opportunities in the PharmaChem industry,” said Mutchler. “I have confidence that together we will continue to provide the same level of service and attention to detail that attendees have come to expect.”
DCAT’s Executive Director, Margaret Timony, recognizes the value that ExcipientFest already brings to many of DCAT’s members. “Although DCAT hopes to contribute to the growth of the show in terms of number of attendees and participants, we are committed to having the event remain an affordable and convenient conference-expo for our members and others, with a daily schedule that provides ample time for company meetings and other business development activities,” she said.
