Students, Professors and Industry Professionals
are invited to present posters at ExcipientFest 2008
|
Whether you are participating in ExcipientFest 2008 for the first time or attending it again, we encourage you to submit an abstract of your work for poster presentation. It is an excellent opportunity to share your work and interact with colleagues from across the globe. A panel of judges from international and local pharma. industry will select the best two university posters and present awards. Participation of sub-graduate and graduate students is highly encouraged. Posters should focus on topics related to Excipient Technology or Drug Application.

Abstract Requirements:
|
- All abstract submissions are required to be structured under these headings: Title, Author(s)/Company/Institution, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
|
- The size of the abstract must be limited to 300 words or less and fit within one 8.5”x 11” page. We strongly recommend that you submit the abstract electronically using Microsoft Word, or Adobe Acrobat PDF.

- Authors may include tables and or graphics as long as the abstract does not exceed the 8.5” x 11” page limitation. Tables and graphics must be embedded into the abstract text (not linked).

Poster Guidelines:
|
- All posters will be displayed during both days of the Seminar. Posters will be set-up and completely dismounted by authors. If author is not able to attend, ExcipientFest will be responsible for the mounting and dismounting of poster. Poster set-up: April 15th (Tuesday) 4:00PM-10:00PM / April 16th (Wednesday) 6:00AM-10:00AM. Poster take-down: April 25th (Wednesday) after 6:00PM.

- Bring only items which can be mounted on poster board. No electrical projection capabilities will be available. All items for posting must be prepared in advance. Graphic supplies will not be available.

- Poster board is 6 feet wide by 4 feet high. Mounting surface (usable space) is 5’10’’ wide by 3’10” high (8’x4’ available upon request). You are responsible for supplying your own materials for mounting posters. Do not use tape or other adhesive materials, or write/ mark the poster board. Thumb tacks or pins allowed.

- Numbers assigned will be displayed in the upper corner of each poster board by ExcipientFest.
